I need to rent a furnished villa for 2 months while I look for a year rental. The problem is the is a last minute trip with my husband and kids so we need a minimum of 3 bedrooms. I would prefer at least 4. It needs to be between nice and cannes and have a pool. I really like antibes. Everywhere is full. Does anyone know of a good vacation rental company in that area? Merci

I might be attending IPAG in Nice (4 Boulevard Carabacel, 06000 Nice) and was looking to stay with a friend whose parents have a home in Antibes. I was wondering are they very close to each other? I looked it up on Live Maps and they looked very far apart. Also is public transport easily accessible between the two?

If anyone from the area can provide any other helpful information about the area or anything else they think I may need to know, please do.
So they’re not very far from each other? I looked on the map and it said they were 30 minutes apart.

I’m just unsure how big both cities are. Are they very spread out or are they condensed, like everything is pretty accessible without having to have a car?

We’re going on a bit of a Eurotip this summer and want to find a campsite to pitch a tent somewhere around Nice or Antibes or something around that area. We found a lovely one in Antibes quite near the beach but sadly they are all booked out….does anyone know of any campsites, or a way to find them? Am having real trouble researching this on the net! Ideally we’d be near the water, but if not that’s ok as we’re going by car. Thank you!!!

London is so expensive, with the credit crunch it’s just making mine and my fiances life even more miserable than the English weather. We’ve been going twice a year to the south of France for 4 yrs and each time we go we say ‘this is where we want to live’. My fiancé is fluent in French,English and Arabic, I only understand when people speak French. I know I can pick it up though.

If we want to move let’s say to Nice or Antibes will I be able to find English speaking jobs? (I’m a PA to chairman in the Uk, my fiance works in IT.)

How much money will we need in order to start up by renting a small 1 bed flat?

How does healthcare work in france? As British will we be covered at least for the first 2 years?

If anyone has had any experience moving there can u let me know about your struggles? I would rather struggle in the beautiful cote d’azur than in this miserable country!

Nimes, Arles, Les Baux-de-Provence, Orange, Avignon, Aix-en-Provence, Marseille, St. Tropez, Cassis, Cannes, Monaco, Antibes, Nice, Montpellier (not Provence, but close by).

I will be traveling to Provence this August and am trying to decide which of these cities to go to. I am female, in my early 20s, and will be traveling alone, on a budget, via train and bus. I will only have about 5 days to tour the Provence region. I would like a combination of sightseeing, visiting ruins and/or castles, and sandy beaches, but am not a big fan of museums. Thanks!

Im going back to Nice in France and looking for good ideas for day trips. I was there last year and visited Monte Carlo. Im only there for 5 days so short trips only. Is Antibes worth a visit?
