I want to move to the south of France. How difficult is it to make our dream become a reality?
London is so expensive, with the credit crunch it’s just making mine and my fiances life even more miserable than the English weather. We’ve been going twice a year to the south of France for 4 yrs and each time we go we say ‘this is where we want to live’. My fiancé is fluent in French,English and Arabic, I only understand when people speak French. I know I can pick it up though.
If we want to move let’s say to Nice or Antibes will I be able to find English speaking jobs? (I’m a PA to chairman in the Uk, my fiance works in IT.)
How much money will we need in order to start up by renting a small 1 bed flat?
How does healthcare work in france? As British will we be covered at least for the first 2 years?
If anyone has had any experience moving there can u let me know about your struggles? I would rather struggle in the beautiful cote d’azur than in this miserable country!
